I keep seeing these ads and commercials, even home parties now, for turning in your old /broken gold jewelry for cash. I admit, I don't know much about it, but I am rather curious. I know I have some old jewelry around that has lost a clasp, gem has fallen out, gifts from old flames, etc. I think it would be great to get some cash for something just laying around, but find it odd to just put it in a bag and send it off somewhere. Does anyone have any experience with this they could share? Fill us in if you have done anything like this and let us know what you thought of the process.
