Wow, I know I recently blogged about gas prices going up and gave you a few tips to help save a few gallons. But I was shocked today when I went to fill up my tank. Last week as I was talking to you gas was $3.11 in my area. I needed gas today and it was already up to $3.29- that is 18 cents in just a matter of days!
And I am sure todays news of an Attack on Iraq's largest refinery and shutting it down will only make things much worse!
Really starting to wonder why I am hanging on to my minivan that gets a whopping 15 mpg around town? It is still working ok, and I would rather keep it going till it conks out, but the gas is killing me! Time to start a special savings account for a down payment on a new car I guess!

ReplyDeleteI hear ya nccoupondeals- I always wonder where the term Stay at Home Mom came from, cause we certainly are never home!! I try very hard to condense trips but it isn't always easy
