Coupon Policies for National Stores

It is always a good a good idea to know your stores coupon policies before you walk in the door. An informed shopper will know what coupons stores accept, and what they don't, and all the rules. As couponers we need to make sure we use coupons as intended and maximize our savings!
Now, there will be times when you will run into a new cashier, or misinformed manager and you will actually know the stores coupon policy better then they do. That is why it is a good idea to print out the coupon policies for the stores you shop and keep them in your coupon organizer. That way you can pull it out and educate them on the spot! If they still don't understand, make sure to stay calm and pleasant. You can either call the corporate number while you are in the store, or leave and call in your car. Corporate will be able to let you know if you are correct and will then call the store to let them know exactly what the policy is! Try to always stay friendly. The managers will have much more respect if you treat them with respect. You don't want to be the couponer that walks through the door and every one cringes when they see you!
