Do you just clip every coupon you see and save it? What is the best way to start with coupon clipping?
ReplyDeleteI generally clip most of them, and file away the rest of the insert by date. This way if a coupon is needed for a particular deal and I hadn't clipped it the first time around, I am still able to locate it easily.
ReplyDeleteAnd what do you do with the stuff that you don't or can't use?
ReplyDeleteWell, if you mean coupons- there are lots of options. You can trade with friends family for coupons you can use. You can drop them off at the library "coupon" box for others to go through. You can also send coupons, even expired one (up to 6 mos) to military families overseas to use at the commissary.
ReplyDeleteAs for products you buy that you may not use, donating is always a great option, (and a tax deduction), help out friends and neighbors, even make great little "Gift Baskets" to give as an inexpensive but practical gift!
So the tip here is to look for coupons for items that you may find in the travel section of Wal-Mart (which are usually $1 or less) and to take advantage of their new policy which is if you use a coupon for more than the price of an item, you get the remaining coupon amount toward the rest of your purchase. Right?
ReplyDeletePretty much so- just make sure the coupon doesn't exclude trial sizes. You also look for high value coupons, such as the $3 gain coupon and look for the smallest reg sized product and use the coupon to get money towards the rest of your bill!
